I am well-educated, fun (at least I think so!), authentic, and affectionate. When I visit a new place, nature and architecture strikes me as the most interesting. Fair warning: I can be a huge nerd and heavily geek out on certain things. Not really into, like, the whole Sci-Fi (e.g. Star Trek, Doctor Who) thing, but in the very rare event that you are, no worries! - you do you (be yourself).

I am very close with my family and friends; in general, I am very protective of the people I love and care about. Most of my friendships originated in early childhood or early teenage years, and I make an effort to visit with them even as we disperse away from our hometown.

My priorities are in order. In terms of work, I work hard and have been very focused on my career. There are still more career goals that I want to achieve, but I have put off starting a family for far too long. So even though I may still be allocating large amounts of effort into work and coming home exhausted these next few years, please remember you are still my number one priority and the family we create together. It's not a lame excuse, I'll definitely be thinking of you (and hopefully the kids!...and pets?) while grinding through the workday.

Quick update: I am in the hectic process of leaving New Orleans, Louisiana 😥 for a new job 😁 in Rockville, Maryland. Still, I hope you will want to join me in visiting New Orleans for Mardi Gras!
