All my life I have been involved in the scientific activities, especially in the field of biotechnology (genetic modifications of cells to express or overexpress compounds useful in medicine, food and nutrition) which at this time is one of the hottest area (it means intensive development). Thus, my world is that and also, in addition to generating new knowledge, the training of young scientists has taken part of my time. Writing scientific articles, chapters of books and books, mostly in English, and mostly in the USA, is another important component. I am editor of scientific journals in the USA which is a honorific distinction. I believe that scientists need honors to be able to live.

I have studied in different countries, besides Mexico; I have been in the USA, Canada, UK, France, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Germany, Spain and others.

My hobby has been writing articles for the popular press on the role of science for nowadays societies.
Other activities: playing baseball, tennis and golf. And at present I go to the gym and I do like walking.

I live permanently in Mexico, in a lovely and quiet medium size city.

In the last year (2014-2015), for academic reasons, I have been in a famous university in Paris, La Sorbonne, and I will be here for one or two years more and then I will go back to my place.

Because of scientific activities I have to travel frequently, especially to the USA. And during my stay in France, I have to travel to most countries in Western Europe.

I speak fluently Spanish, English and French; and intermediate level of German. And not less than 100 words of Russian. But Russian is sweet but it is an extremely difficult language.

I am divorced with a 20-year old boy who is at the university and lives with her mother. I have been, and I am a good father recognized by all concerned people, but I was not a good husband. I wanted to conquer the world of science 24 hours a day; and she asked for the divorce with good reasons. My ex-wife and myself are now good friends. And I am now convinced to give time to common matters of normal human beings. All scientists are slightly crazy and I am not the exception, like most men involved with culture along human history. Science is a cultural activity as well.

I am extremely active, passionate, including sex matters with my future partner, and I do love what I am involved in life. But besides my usual activities I am alone. And I do need someone to share my life with. To love and to be loved. To take care and respect my partner. Mutual loyalty is an important component. 😃 😁

For unknown reasons, I have a very strong natural tendency to phylantropic matters; and I usually do such activities especially (but not only) with people who needs help on sciencific or technological or educational aspects. I do love animals especially horses and dogs; and it hurts my feelings to observe bad treatments to any animal. I was almost born over a horse because I come from a cowboy type of family north Mexico; perhaps my parents made love riding a horse and it is not a joke. It may be very pleased to see if that is an agreeable experience. My father wanted me to be a cowboy but he sent me to the university in Mexico and in the US; and I became a scientist instead of a cowboy. Cowboys live in open spaces thinking in freedom and women while scientists spend most of their time in closed environments trying to take human beings to better stages in their way of living. Unfortunately some segments of the society are more interested in becoming rich, instead of happy, and in making wars to their neighbours.

Human poverty hurts my feelings as well. To see young kids and old people wondering for food, shelter or medical services make me terribly sad and I do whatever it is in my hands to provide instant help. Intensive and permanent lessons to all politicians all over the world on inducing the society to help to stop or to at least diminish such inhuman distribution of richness may eventually lead us to a world much happier. 😢 😁

Attractive physical appearance and who likes to take care of her appearance. Passionate. Not fat and preferentially slim or near to slim. I have heard that one can not be a leader if one is not leader of her/his own body. Intelligent. Intermediate level of education or higher. Faithful. Self-confidence. If possible who speaks some English or Spanish or French or German (some initial or intermediate level would be enough); if not, I am learning Russian and she may be hired to teach me this language and some lovely matters. Love can take place also in Russian. Nice mood; easy-going. I am afraid of ladies who get upset easily. Then, it is lovely a lady easy-going, optimist, nice mood who accepts that I am her permanent Brad Pitt Latinoamerican style 😃 😁
